Join our experienced Dales Volunteers on this short 2.5 mile (3.5km) guided walk and explore the history of Hawes and the village of Gayle. Walking through this lovely market town, discover the origins of Wensleydale cheese, see where the railway once went and follow a section of the Pennine Way.

A level 1 YDNPA guided walk. The route takes in some steps, stiles and slight gradients. Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy shoes with good grips.

Dogs not allowed (assistance dogs welcome).

This is a free walk (donations welcome) however we do still require you to book as there is limited places.

Places are limited, booking advisable from Hawes National Park Centre
