Spring Flowers in Oxenber and Wharfe WoodsFeizor | Feizor | LA2 8DF

A 4 mile ( 6.5 km) to see ancient Oxenber and Wharfe woods. We will be accompanied by Tony from the YDNPA wildlife team who will help you to enjoy an area rich in Spring flowers. We will observe a variety of habitats – limestone pavement, grassland and wood pasture. We will also enjoy views of classic limestone scenery and will discuss how the landscape came to be as it is.
A level 3 YDNPA walk with some gradients and a steep climb into Oxenber Wood. There are some stiles and uneven ground.
Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips, walking boots recommended.
Don’t forget to bring a mid morning drink and snack.
Cost is £6 adults, children £2. A voucher for a hot drink at Elaine’s Tea room in Feizor is included in the ticket.
