Starry Constellation Trail

When you visit the Dales Countryside Museum during the Dark Skies Festival you will be able to explore the night sky by following the constellation trail both inside and outside the Museum.

Find out interesting facts about how we group the stars, why are they grouped like this? Who named them? Which is the brightest star? Why are some stars a different colour?

Collect the letters hidden around the Museum to spell a word and win a prize.

This event is part of the Dark Skies Festival which runs from 9 to 25 February.  There are lots of other events on at the Museum throughout the week such as :

Tuesday 13 Feb – Starry Night Felt Making

Wednesday 14 Feb – Rockets and Telescopes
