Join Sue Thurley, from our wildlife team for a 4 mile (6.4km) gentle stroll through the quiet lanes of Orton looking at the wildflowers found in the species rich ‘Special Verges’. Learn how to identify some key meadow species and hunt for some of the rarer orchids found in the area.
A level 2 YDNPA walk; the walk will involve roadside walking and footpaths A short section of the walk will be on unsurfaced paths.
Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips
Dogs not allowed. (Assistance dogs welcome)
