A weekend for botanists looking at specialist flora of limestone habitats amid this magnificent scenery. Excursions will cover grasslands, flushes, woodlands and limestone pavement to improve skills in identifying a wide range of species in the field, making sure we don’t miss the ferns, grasses, sedges or the views.

Fly Fishing Weekend

This weekend course provides the opportunity to enjoy the experience of fly fishing for wild brown trout on the Tarn, and for brown trout and grayling in the Ribble and Ure rivers. Learn the many techniques involved in fishing stillwaters and rivers, and something of the life of the trout and its diet.
