An event every month that begins at 12:00am on day 31 of the month, repeating indefinitely

n this workshop you will use traditional tools such as files, sandpaper and stickpress and learn how to straighten a stick using either a steam box or a heat gun depending on numbers in the class at the time. You will be taught the basic techniques to create your own stick which you will take home with you. The skills you will learn are: 1. Straightening the shank. 2. Dressing knots. 3. Making a peg joint. 4. Preparing the handle.…

Forged Blacksmith Bushcraft Knife

An event every week that begins at 12:00am on Friday, repeating indefinitely

On this course you can spend two days learning to forge a traditional blacksmith bushcraft knife. It will involve basic blacksmith techniques for one part of the knife and silversmithing techniques for the other. You will learn how to temper, heat treat and sharpen using files.
