The Persuaders

Step back into the sixties with the sound, look and feel of the decade recreated by The Persuaders on a stage adorned with backdrops depicting the era and with the music kept as raw as possible. The line up is: Derek on bass/lead vocals, Steve on lead guitar/lead vocals, Phil on rhythm/lead vocals; Kenny on drums, tambourine, maracas or anything else he can get his hands on! Doors open at 8pm for an 8.30 start. End time is approximate.

Family Fireworks and Bonfire

The village bonfire and fireworks display is held on the village green. The judging of the guys begins at 6pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30. The fireworks display begins at 7pm and a barbecue is available throughout the evening. Admission is free and a collection is taken.

Himmerland

Himmerland are a five piece band from Denmark performing an eclectic mix of traditional Danish songs in new arrangements, and some very new compositions by the band members, arranged for vocals, violin, saxophone, guitar, electric bass guitar and percussion. The band have been touring Europe, Russia, Canada, South America, Australia, New Zealand and the UK for the last few year winning new fans wherever they go. The Urban Folk Quartet

Since its inception in 2009 the award winning Urban Folk Quartet, consisting of Joe Broughton (fiddle/mandolin/guitar), Paloma Trigas (fiddle/vocals), Tom Chapman (percussion/vocals) and Dan Walsh (banjo/guitar/vocals), has performed around the world at everything from intimate venues to 30,000 capacity festival fields, delighting audiences with their high-energy, genre-defying acoustic music.
